What game are you currently playing? (Screenshots if possible pls)

Secret confession;
I never finished Half-Life 2

So I made an attempt to play it last night, and by Odin it feels aged. I'm not sure I feel like putting the effort in to finish it, especially since I think it kind of ends 'unfinished' and that the story never gets wrapped up (barring the elusive HL3 ever being produced)
I never finished it either... Finished and loved the first one, but didn't get through the second. I think I'd be with you. I don't think I could go back to it at this point.

Are you familiar with Black Mesa? Half Life remake.

I am. Black Mesa is just HL1 though.

Not sure I liked HL1 enough to ever go back. I get it's historical significance, but it doesn't have enough story to draw me back in, and the gameplay isn't revolutionary enough anymore that there aren't newer games I'd rather play.

I can go back and play something like Chrono Trigger or FFX because I enjoy the story enough that the dated gameplay doesn't bother me. I find I don't get the enjoyment of going back and playing Halo or Civ II anymore since there's newer games I enjoy the gameplay of more.

I enjoyed control and yes it is somewhat different. Without spoiling anything I quite enjoyed some of the abilities that you the "player" come in control of!
I put 46 hours into it as a completed game but there was more to accomplish. Someday........
I hope you enjoy it.

As an aside I would say Death Stranding is way weirder!
Decided to play Control. Had no idea what it was about before starting. Wtf is all I can say. Weirdest game I've ever played I believe.

Giving Star Wars Squadrons a try. It's.... okay. Not great, not awful. Definitely doesn't have me rushing to play it like say X-Wing/Tie back in the day.

Also played Tales of Zestiria for a few days and.... it sucks. I'd say any JRPG fans should just avoid it.

I'd completely agree with that assessment of Squadrons. I haven't finished it yet. I found the characters laughable, but the ship combat is okay. I got to a harder mission, beat my head against it for a while, then switched to something else. I'll finish it... someday.
