Starfield

*snip*
Hopefully there's no oddness in weapon damage/timing/etc when running it at >30FPS on PC since they're capping it on the consoles.
Oh really? I didn't know that. Hmm. Does that make us more or less concerned? Likely we'll be capped at 60 on PC do you suppose?

i really hope they got over that bug where the engine tied the phsyx to fps so if you uncapped itd do some wonky things above 60 fps. not quite cyberpunk lvl funk but enough to make you say wait wtf did i do :ROFLMAO:

Fallout and Skyrim were WAY buggier than CP2077. Not lot on the same level TBH.

I had more crash to desktops in FO4 than probably every other game combined.

There is also a mod out now that decouples game speed from framerate thankfully.

EDIT: I should mention on PC. I'll admit that for XB1 and PS4, CP was an utter disaster.

Agreed. I certainly had way more issues right after release with Fallout 4 than CP2077. And also think that CDPR's biggest mistake with regards to Cyberpunk was releasing it on the older consoles at all. That took lots of dev time that should have been put towards making it better for current tech. This is one of the things people have mentioned about the new Phantom Liberty being just more alive than before and how this is most likely tied to the fact it is not coming to the old consoles.

And as I remember I am in the Starfield thread, I guess people are just complaining the NPC visuals. I mean sure they are not up to CP2077 levels but then again, look at just the absolutely massive world they are creating. And lets face it, if the NPC's are really bad then the modders will fix that for us on PC.

Interesting about PC requirements, Steam has a line for both min and recommended specs that states "SSD required".
Anything at the AAA level should be. I just can't imagine using a hdd for games anymore. Media yes, but OS and games, not a chance.

This is very true and I Was even running Skyrim with a lot of those mod unofficial patches and stuff to fix a lot of the bugs too, which I still ended up with a game breaking one where about 6-10 of my saves got corrupted and the last non-corrupt was from 5-10 hours prior. I also did this I want to say 3-5 years after Skyrim was out so it wasn't day 1 issues.

Never had to run any mods to fix my CP2077 play through and I did that at launch.
