You IDIOT, 1500 hours is too much! What's your record hours played on what game?

Heh.... I've got just shy of 400 hours on 3DMark alone. :) (although in my defence I've used it for years as a looping overnight stress test of new builds..... ) :)

I'm sure Skyrim and Oblivion are in 3K+ territory, but no record as Oblivion wasn't steam at the time, and skyrim is split up between different versions, and the time played with mods isn't captured by Steam either.

Any single player ARPG I get into gets at least 300 hours play (Last epoch is 350 ish and Grim Dawn is 540), and I wouldn't want to even attempt to guess at how much time I've got sunk into the Diablo series.

I'm thinking to myself should I put a cap on how many hours I put into a game?
What's an appropriate amount, 1500 hours?
I'm 1412 hours into playing Battlefield 2042 and I have Starfield fast approaching, I also own other games I've yet to play!
Is 1500 hours too much or just too *ucki*g much you IDIOT:)?
What's your record?
And does being on a menu screen count?
That's it?

PoE is up to 5303
FortressCraft Evolved at 505 is next
Grim Dawn 466
No Man's Sky 458
Last Epoch 301

A variety of games, about a dozen between 200 and 300 hours.

Diablo in all of its forms has to be more than PoE, I'm sure. No way to count them up.

I'm sure I would benefit from more walks outside, but I do love me some games.

The only thing I am wondering is how so many of you can even find the time, Maybe I just always have too much to do and I do not play online games but the most I have is like 20 hours in a couple of games, not saying there anything wrong with it at all but I have always been a work alcoholic, fun doesn't really step into my reality much, really wish I had more time to play some games but I limit them to only the weekend and in the summer most of the time that doesn't allow much time to game.

love the follow your bliss

Oh god, where to start....

Valheim - 2105 Hours (I have one world on day 1500 I think)
Total War: Warhammer - 905
Total War: Warhammer II - 3857
Enlisted - 1176 (They count days, so I have to math it, 3900 Matches 89.98% W/R lol)
Endless Space (I was in Late Alpha/Beta so I don't know if those hours count) - 4072 (Since 2012 though)

Ones I am not sure about.
Half Life and HL2 I played so many times over. Its one of the few games with 100% achievements. Getting 'Little Rocket Man' took FOREVER.

WoT, WoWS, WoWP I was Alpha, Beta, Supertester, and Consultant for all 3 titles. Took a LOT of my time, I don't even know how to record the hours.

I'll have to check my ME ones as well. That one I think is close to 100% achievments too.

Basically, what I pay for a title is insignigant to me because if you divide cost by hours, it is very efficent for me.
I do 2 things that I really enjoy. I play games, and I go outside and touch grass and trees and lose myself in nature.
So the time spent is fine for me.

I'm embarrassed to say my WoW main has literally hundreds of days played. This doesn't include my legion of ALT's nor the original time playing Beta prior to vanilla launch in 2004.
