Is VR gaming worth it?

Triple screens aren't right for me, and a single leaves out a lot of info. I think I've got enough grunt to keep fr adequate. If not, it's just a new reason to upgrade. :coffee::cool:

A friedn went from Quest 2 -> Quest 3 and mentioned he felt it was worth the upgrade for his racing games. He is going as far now as setting up a motion seat racing/flying sim setup now.

The improved resolution on the Quest 3 is what made the difference for him.

I haven't even had a VR headset near me--so no clue really--I'm just going on what influence-rs, on Youtube have offered. I'm reluctant to strap something that looks so cumbersome to my head--but then there's the desire to pass on the outside--Greg Moore style! Thanks for the reply.
 
i dont know if this is just general Graphics regression or if stuiods intentionally do this but i found VR games to be along the quailty of early PS3 games as in extremly low poly counts,

seen a few games that looked pretty Trash Graphically but thats been chaning lately hoping htatmeans devs are putting effort to make games look better then 90's games.
 
I'm also in the camp of waiting for the tech to evolve and hopefully reduce in size. However, if I did have one, I feel like I would fall in to EmuVR and never see my family again. :p
