Whats your latest purchase?

AMD reference 7900 XT direct from AMD.com.

I had a very good used offer on an XTX (thank you again) but it was an aftermarket card and I just couldn’t figure out how to get it in my case! And I didn’t want this to turn into a whole PC rebuild. Plus I liked the idea of keeping just the two 8-pin power connectors.

It’ll be a good performance jump over the 6800 XT so I’m looking forward to it arriving. First time I’ve bought a new GPU in a very long time. On sale at AMD.com.
Ooooo shipped email arrived. Delivery scheduled for by end of day 30 Sep (y)

Worst part is it came with two games, one being Space Marine II that I just bought a little bit ago... ah well.

start a lottery and draw a lucky winner?
I thought about giving it away but it looks like it's a single code for the two game bundle. The other game is Unknown 9: Awakening, which I know little about, but I don't want to give up that one. I'll see what happens when I claim the code though.

Edit: Looked it up, could be interesting, could be another x-ray vision button presser game. We'll see I guess.

Not a 'purchase' since it was free.
Yamaha rx-v579. 2018ish mid range AVR. New enough to do 4k60. Also supports Musicast. So I can once again listen to Tidal in living room.

And then some Soundstage towers / center. I'd guess they are similar age. Looks like one tower got knocked over and dented. But fabric is in great shape.

Edit: did some testing. Even tho AVR supports MusicCast, it doesn't support Tidal like my newer unit I use on my PC. :(

Does support Bluetooth not seems no higher bitrate codecs. :(

Still pretty damn good for free.

A deal on 12x32GB DDR4 ECC ram popped up at a price that had me hitting add to cart and ship without even looking at other inventory.

A price so good I was worried they would cancel the purchase. But just got the shipping notification a little while ago.

I don't even know what to use 512GB ram for on the server but not passing that up.

I was thinking about PC upgrades and didn't see much point since my 3900x HTPC & 5900x gaming rig still work fine, so I decided to grab a 2x32gb ddr4 3200MT kit for my HTPC since I have a bad habit of having a load of chrome tabs open that eat up 15-30GB of ram, plus more ram is never a bad thing. It was a good price. Next, a GPU upgrade in the summer for my gaming rig, if needed.
