What is your Internet speed?
I don't have a portable device w/ a 2.5G ethernet port so I can't test the full throughput at the port. Based on my experience with the Screenbeam 1G MoCA adapters I'm expecting it'd be somewhere around what you're seeing on yours.- sswilson

Yeah, wifi 7 on my oneplus 12R with unifi U7 Pro 6ghz band. Also of interest (to me anyways.... ;) ) is that the AP it's connected to is being fed through household coax cable by a 2.5G MoCA adapter which makes the speed even more impressive. :)- sswilson

UPS recommendations home/gaming PC in 2025?
IIRC, there's also an issue with UPS not working correctly with anything relating to electric motors. You can't power things like sump pumps so it's possible that a "fan" might fall under that category.- sswilson

I'm just pulling your chain.... :) In your case you're probably trying to source power sources designed as fail-over to keep infrastructure running during a power failure, and yeah, these aren't going to do that outside of giving you the time to safely shut down. I'd disagree with this statement. ;) While it's true that most consumer grade UPS models aren't designed to keep high wattage devices powered on for longer than it takes to safely shut them down (I have a small(ish) one on my Unraid server for this purpose), they're perfectly fine for keeping...- sswilson

Now that I've got a CG Fiber with a POE port powering one of my APs I can move my Enterprise 8 PoE over to a non-backup outlet which will power down both that and the second AP during a power failure. Whats your latest purchase?
A pair of Screenbeam ECB7250 MoCA adapters in order to move one of my APs to the main floor. As mentioned in another thread, much cheaper (-$70 before tax) getting them in from the US (B&H) than to order them in from a Canadian source. Shipping through Customs was surprisingly fast using Fedex... -

Mem Express gets a big wet raspberry for today's daily special....... The way I read that is a motherboard + memory bundle (which would be a crazy decent price in today's market). Instead, the reference to memory is only a statement of compatibility so the price is just for the motherboard. -

Yeah, that's a bit weird that the bed is reporting 60c in spite of not having active heating. Does the chamber heat source blow directly on the bed? edit: That sure is a purty plate.... :)- sswilson
