Done and filled out. I will add that cable management is a big thing for me. having a spot to shove cables aside is very handy. Especially in a small space.
Strange thing is that when it's in StandyBy mode it's fine for battery drain. Only when im using it does it really drain a lot.....or at least more than what it did when it was running WebOS.
I am already running the A6 firmware i believe. Will check when i get home. I checked the CPU speed and it running @ 1.5Ghz so I may back that down a bit to 1.2GHz and see what happens.
That is one of the reason I wait so long to change over. I keep reading the Cyanogenmods forums that certain feature were not enabled or not working properly. When KitKat came out they pretty much said all the hardware functions were fixed and working correctly. I haven't come across anything...
When i get home im going to run cpuid on the Touchpad and figure out what im running at. Everything right now works fine for me. if the cpu clock is too high i might bring it down a bit to conserve on battery power. Other than that i have no regrets at all about switching over.
I am running the exact same thing you are. Running KitKat 4.4.4 . I was debating getting a new tablet and ditching this one but i'm glad i made the change over. Battery life is still a bit short in my opinion. I have not over clocked my cpu at all. Aside from the battery drain it has been a huge...
If you are looking for a nice upgrade, can't go wrong with a 970GTX. Probably would do with just 1 card and still get very similar if not better frame rates compared to two 560Ti's.
This guy just realized that even though i only worked for Tiger direct for a short period of time, i was signed up for RE. DOH!!!!! I have some homework to do this weekend.
I had some decent luck with Sleep Country. Bought a queen size from them with a half height box spring. Got it on sale for about $1000 taxes in after I pushed them down and haggled with them. Never take the price tag price. Always haggle with them. Mattress prices are always negotiable.
It's Here, It's Here!!!!!!!!!!!! Get it while it's hot!
Welcome to Steam
Flight Simulator X Steam Edition is also now live and already on sale, that will be my first!
Time to empty our wallets again.
Also take some time to help out a fellow HWC, please see the link below...
As Dezzop said, either the Gigabyte, MSI or Asus card will do you very well. I have the Asus STRIX 970 and it run like buttered silk with barely any sound at all while i'm gaming and practically no sound at all while my system is idle or just web surfing. A card with rear exhaust is a good idea...
And you are not an experienced Su Chef, Horticulturalist, and certified Mechanic? I'm sorry but you just do not have the qualifications we are looking for. :bleh:
Awwww....but I own a Cutlass Blue. I want that to be flyable. I checked last week and I couldn't even get into my ship. All I could do was walk around it in the hanger and stare at it.
I'm sometimes shocked how expensive these ships are and how much money people have sunk into a game that still isn't coming out for another year. If this game doesn't deliver there are going to be a lot of very angry people. I might even go so far as to say if it doesn't deliver, it would damage...
