11th annual folding contest at Anandtech !!

I think i will have to ask a local member to host a gpu for me. Lack of internet is driving me nuts, don't know if i should get my rig in the hospital or not, i would incline to say yes, i think a system upgrade is in order. Will get 8 more GB, a ssd and aiming for a 1060/1070.
 
Unfortunately I am out of town for a bit and my rig will have to shut down as soon as the last wu is finished. :sad:

Nah ,
I was actually saving for a 10,000$ / dual cpu xeon rig for video editing.(just for the cpu's and mobo/ram)...
I watched the Linus tech tips about that whole thing ,and changed my mind about how to proceed.
My 3930k works just fine for now , but I do need to upgrade my video cards.
So It's a gimmie.

Oh... I'm going to be in London, England when the contest hits. I could leave my computer on but a 7950 gets next to nothing now, except for a sky-high electricity bill. $400 electricity bill hurts...
 
Last time i checked it was doing around 100k ppd. Might want to fire it up now and check. For sure however the electricity consumption will be higher than anything Maxwell or Polaris.

I've got more coming , but AnandTech and Tom's are doing ~15 mppd , and they are just getting warmed up too.heheh

I came over here to see if you all were going to sleep through the race or what. But I can see you are active behind the scenes. Actually I am glad to see it.
