I forgot to post what I've been working on lately. My dad used to build fly-by-wire gas powered model planes when I was a kid. I've always been interested in remote controlled planes since that day, so I decided that my next project would be to 3D print my own RC plane.
Note:
Any RC plane, drone or helicopter over 250 grams requires you to get an RPAS license in Canada. I don't have one yet, but plan to get one before I ever attempt flying this thing. Info here:

I decided on building a trainer.

This is the Eclipson Go 1 Wolf, modeled after a pre-WWII glider. The model is free. Eclipson's models are very well reviewed by Flite Test on YouTube.

I bought a roll of eSun foaming PLA-LW. After a few attempts, I finally dialed in the settings in Cura and ended up with this after about 70 hours of printing (print speed is limited to ~50 mm/s with foaming PLA)
What you see used up less than 1/3 of a roll. The exterior skins are only 1 layer thick at .4 mm so it's super light. So far I've had time to glue up the fuselage then had to put the parts away for a couple weeks while we had an aborted attempt at selling our house. I intend to assemble the wing, ailerons and elevator flaps then paint it all white with some leftover rattle-can lacquer I have (the filament is more beige than white). I'll put some red striping on the wings and rudder so it's more visible from farther away although not the patterns Eclipson shows.
The random parts I'm buying to make it will add up to around $200. They will be reused when I crash this. It's inevitable.

The idea is that you can just re-print the parts you break and re-build for cheap. Eclipson uses the same servos and motor for all their models with the idea that you can re-use them on another model when you are tired of flying this one. For me this is a proof-of-concept, to make sure I can build something that will fly and land. Then I hope to make other models that are capable of more aerobatic flight once I have a few flights under my belt. I also bought a small P51D warbird off Amazon to hopefully get used to RC flying in real life but the weather's been crappy. I've spent many hours in flight sims over the years, dating back to Falcon 3.0.
Anybody else on here ever done something similar? I'd love to hear about your experience.
