#1: Go slowly. Write everything down , and take pictures.

#2: It's already broken , don't worry about breaking it.

#3: Calling in an expert is NOT a sign of weakness , it's a sign of wisdom.

#4: There is a point where "fixing it" is not worth it.

#5: Dirt washes off.

ross #1 rule if it ain't broke.....don't fix it

#2 tip on small screws use a egg carton to hold screws and post sticky where it goes, larger stuff use old butter containers

#3 if item has a repair manual read it or youtube

yes a lemon design not worth spending good hard earned cash

like stamped metal barbecue burners replace with cast iron burner

-there is no such thing as a "10 minute fix"
-Budget at least twice as much time as you think you will need to fix things
-If you get frustrated, just put things down, have a beer and rethink your approach
