Wooting and Razer have the new tech that helps speed up strafing. Unfortunately some games block it already like CS.

havent ever liked razor keyboards/mice that software/feature set isnt good. corsair built my keyboard like a tank but the hardware inside keeps failing maybe since this one they rebuilt them to be better ($249) for this keyboard.

I had 2x K95's. Both had over a dozen burnt out LEDs within about 1 year. The second was a warranty replacement and ended up with the same problem. On a keyboard that expensive I felt 24+ LEDs burnt out in 2 years was a sign of very poor quality control/manufacturing for Corsair.
Wow, I've had my K95 Platinum for, around 6 years now I think and it has been great with no LED issues. But I can say that currently the - key sometimes stops responding, a few presses will make it work but it can get annoying.

I also have been looking for a possible replacement but the damn costs of them make me second guess since mine is still working. But I have looked at K100 Air Wireless RGB, Logitech G915, G915 X, and Razer BlackWidow V3 Pro. I'm sure there have been others but mainly those. My son has the G915 and seems to like it and I did use it briefly before as mine and the only part I had an issue with was the limits of the macro keys when you can't have the software installed.

Out of those I am currently leaning more towards the updated G915 X. Although I do want to get the 8BitDo Retro Mechanical Keyboard C64 edition but that is only cause I think it looks cool.

Oddly, my K95 (pre-RGB) felt like a tank and never had an issue, but I can believe you. Corsair's rep has really been tumbling the last few years and I could see their peripherals going down in quality.

Little late to the party here but I have an Everest Max with Cherry MX Browns and I am very pleased. It was expensive, but it is an awesome feature set.

The Corsair K100 RGB Optical-Mechanical Gaming Keyboard seems to be the mothership with a hefty price at Amazon.ca. I looked around and it seems to be the identical price at all retailers! No special deals anywhere in Canada :(
