I know some of you have heard this , I thought I would share the good news.
Caveat : I'm a Wild Rose Brewery shareholder(was) and an employee.

We have accepted the offer from Sleeman Breweries to purchase our company.
Wild Rose is now owned by Sleeman Breweries.

What does this mean ?

Same beer, more work.
Our beer will still be the same quality craft beer it always has been.No changes other than ownership really......well....and taxes.

The good news is , you Ontario/Quebec folks might see our beer now.I'm part of a bigger family now.

We're a small fish in a big pond now.It will probably be a year before the systems are all meshed.
I had the pleasure of drinking a few pints with John Sleeman himself , as well as many other Sleeman/Sapporo members of our new family.Cool peeps ! same attitude for beer we have.

Yesterday was kind of a sad day.
I'm officially no longer a shareholder, got my cheques in the mail yesterday.
