good store only when you go in i stopped ordering from theme over a year ago when they forgot my order for more then 3 weeks and then i got the run around when i called them not a small order ether

Local CC for me is a great place. Basically the only thing local actually. The only problem is one or two of the employees being TOO pushy with suggestions. Went to get a video card for a friend (AGP) that was just temporary, and he kept pushing us to get the 3850 instead of the 3650(I think) after telling him it was a temp. Bleh, I guess they gotta do what they gotta do.
As for the site, doesn't seem to be any faster to me, but my school's connections is crap. We'll see when I get home. The site is handy though for stock checks, and that's about it.

That's funny actually. I was just there at the Brampton store and I was going to get a HD 4670 1GB card and the cashier basically pushed me into the HD 4830 512MB card (which in all reality is much better and it was only $12 more). I find the staff very hit or miss at all the stores, but their pricing has gotten far more competitive lately atleast. If they list less than 3 in stock I always find it a good idea to call first.

One other interesting note is that they have hte HD 4890 in stock for $339 already.

Yeah, I'm not saying they suggest bad things, I'm just saying if you're going there and there's something THEY think you could get better than what you're looking for, they will let you know.....and let you know...and let you know...etc.
the best thing though was when I picked up the most part of my PC there on boxing day, I told the guy what I needed, he got them and I paid. That was my HDD, CPU, GPU, PSU, and case, and it took less time than getting that single agp video card took. Hit and miss, but with the HST thing, CC might be the only place for me since NCIX is going to start costing a bit more.

I have had no issues with them so far.

I've just ordered a crapload of fans from them, so we'll see how it goes.

Haha yeah I went in to buy a Rampage one day and they basically told me I was stupid and should get the Gigabyte board in my sig now instead, and save about $150. I wouldn't take their word for it but they let me use a machine in their store to do some research for myself on the board they were recommending.

Like most places they are very hit and miss. I find the Ajax location is pretty good (actually a great HWC member works there), but the Pacific Mall location is an adventure. I would never send a computer noob into the Pacific Mall location. I was also not impressed with the College St. location either, mainly just because I find the staff rude there.
