Canadian CRT Class Action

I know I bought at least 1 TV and 1 17" monitor during that time, probably more, but who keeps receipts that old? I might have some email stuff from the mid 2000s. But hey, free money!

I too submitted a claim. Looking forward to my 5$. This reminds me, I need to update my claim address for the OSAP Class Action and insure I get my sweet sweet 50$...

I'll tell you one thing.... I'm not going to be an early adopter when emails start showing up. Sounds like a perfect event for a fake EMT phishing attempt. (Although I suppose it's fine if the system points to the proper account instead of asking you to enter your account info).

Yup your right I guess the lawyers will do very well and I will be keeping my info private I don't think 20$ is worth giving up my info just my2cents which don't count for much XD

Anybody else receive the email last week regarding approval & "Notional Entitlement”? I claimed CRT purchases totalling $1,370, but said entitlement is only for $791.60.

No info on payment total, money could still be months away.

Yes Prickly, I got an email about the same thing. And yeah, it's really hard to gauge what amount you MIGHT actually receive, given the huge numbers of claimants that could potentially be involved..... that, and once the lawyers take their cut, the amount left could be "peanuts". As for "months away", there was some mention that payment is USUALLY within a year after the cutoff date for filing a claim, which, IIRC, was Mar. 1/19......

Donkeys chase the carrots, another phishing in the works for your data with strings to money. Why so late to bring suit
