the right direction would be a $500,000,000,000,000 Class action lawsuit for knowingly letting this thing into the world knowing its just a explosive device waiting to happen but logic is no longer apart of this timeline that left after the 2000's.
 
Okay, that's not the one to buy I guess.

I am still pondering something for my brother-on-law and niece's builds I did a while back. He as a 5080 and she has a 5070 Ti, both Gigabyte. They haven't had any issues, and the cable I used was the 12VHPWR one that came with their new Corsair power supplies, so no adaptors or splitters in between.

They are blissfully unaware, but since they plan to have these new PCs for a long time, it hangs there in the back of my mind...

so you're saying you didn't install the cables properly and now hope worry they'll catch fire and burn their house down? that doesn't sound like the Lysrin I know. who are you and what did you do with our well-known member?!?!? ;)

What? What did I write?? lol

No I meant I used the correct cable for that type of GPU power that came with their new power supplies that supported the new standard. As safe as could be without buying additional special cables.

Or perhaps you jest Sir :)
