Crappy Used Computer Parts Ads

May be it's worth it for retro gamers but the screen is all scratched up from the looks of it.
The photos in the ad are clearer, looks like it's just dust, but there's no way in hell it's worth $500, that's half the price of a brand new analogue 4K (which isn't the same sure, but...). Would I pay $100 for the right one knowing I'll need to chase a couple friends to help hauling it out of someone's basement? Sure for the right one, but the resellers have gotten loopy.

Plus this is one of the ones that adds lag as it has image processing so it's not even an 'ideal' Trinitron. Only saving grace is that it's relatively new for a CRT so it might not have that many hours on it and the tube might last longer.

Smaller than you're looking for, but I just dropped off a 27" Trinitron at the hazardous waste depot on Sat. Oops... Was mine post university, then I gave to my parents, and now we moved my mom in with my sister so no longer required. Sorry guys... but I'm guessing shipping it would have been cost prohibitive had anyone wanted it.

Retro gamers are paying weird money for CRTs in functioning condition.
