So a new card comes out and its old equivalent is cheaper? GASP.... really like soul said research it a bit.... The 560ti when it came out was about $300 (give or take) and then gradually reduced in price over its lifetime... So the price of the 660ti will inevitably come down in time as well to a more reasonable number.... launch prices and the short time afterwards are always high..... (cough 7970)

A 660Ti is more akin to a 560Ti 448.. not a 560ti.. so compare the 660 to the 560ti and what do you get?

Nothing personal mate....but a 660Ti is more like a 570 (580 in some cases, but Im pessimistic). Not a 560ti. How much was the 570 at launch again? /whistle

At launch,all the 660ti were minimum 320 euros for france,at least,i renember... so around 434 USD
I know it's much better than a 560ti :bleh:

Now you get 570 for 270 dollars!!!! damn ,i renember i got mine around 300 euros.

Anyway,electronics prices vary sooooooooo much !

Please use USD to USD....doing otherwise is not optimal.

The 660TI was 299USD at launch (to keep things apples to apples heres anads review to counter the anad 570 AnandTech - The GeForce GTX 660 Ti Review, Feat. EVGA, Zotac, and Gigabyte).

Last time I checked...299 was less than 350. IDK...maybe its that new math they teach the newer generation. ~

Yes we get screwed but you can't compare prices between regions.. pick one or the other for comparisons.

Unless that is your comparing regions prices, in which case you have to pick 1 card.
