Yeah, can't really argue with anything Ian had to say, and he had A LOT to say! Although I'm sure most of us could see that LMG's size has most likely had a significant negative impact on a lot of things around there, when you listen to how Ian explained the differences in the workflow between a team of about 8 vs. a team of 120, you can definitely see how too much can fall between the cracks. That, and he didn't exactly mince words with how he thought GN Steve wasn't exactly an angel in the way he did his video(s) on this topic.

Even in his lates video he shows a real lack of remorse. I don’t care how much he looks like he’s choked up.

But after watching this other video critiquing both LTT and GN, I now also believe GN has many faults as well.

To sum. No one’s perfect and as much as I dislike some of these channels, they often cover subjects that do interest me so I’ll most likely still view them on occasion.

Yeah, I get the impression, that in spite of his wife and at least 1 of his team members telling him he should've re-tested the Billet block, PROPERLY, he probably still thinks his original take was correct.

I don’t care how much he looks like he’s choked up.

Both him and his wife looked like they were on the verge of cryin'..... in his case, it's probably mostly due to shock that other content creators, AND a lot of the video watching public have raked him over the coals..... I have to wonder if he hasn't gotten a bad case of a 'swelled head' since he's come so far in a relatively short period of time since he was just another employee at NCIX.

EXACTLY!!! My wife always comments on Linus' voice, and can't stand it, but my reply, is that it's the topic of interest, not Linus' voice that I'm watching the video for. I don't watch GN videos too often, but when the topic is something of interest, same thing.

One thing is always clear with Steve. If any company they critique makes the necessary changes, repairs, etc, he never fails to bring that to light. Of any reviewer he isn't biased like some, and if he says flat out that some piece of tech is a complete waste of money, I 100% believe him. That doesn't mean I won't spend the money, I have l, however, been well informed.

Look at how well the 4080/90 issues were looked at. Not just 1st out of the gate "here's the problem" things were deeply investigated.
