Got this under contract and got it unlocked as well. Brand new, still sealed, and fully loaded.
How much do these usually resell for? I'm thinking $1000 but I feel that people wouldn't pay that much.
 
You can find the 128 being resold on CL for $900-950. As for whether it'll sell, that's a whole other question. I live in the Vancouver area, which tends to be a hot-spot for selling new, expensive phones. But even here people are starting to back off from spending that kind of money on a phone. Even those drinking the Apple Juice aren't keen to spend the huge dollars for an X.

Don't get me wrong. I think $900-$1000 is a relatively 'accurate' price for the phone, and I think there are those that will pay it. But you might have to fish around for a while to get a buyer.
 
The way GPU prices.... are I will trade you a 1050Ti for it :P

Srsly though. Probably 800 for a fastish sale. 900 if you can wait and are patient. 9+ if you are lucky. Used phones, even BNIB, dont have great resale value.

This is correct. Another issue with the 2XL is the 'screen lottery'...a lot of folks would be wary of a phone that has a lot of online complaints about the screen quality and might want a look at the screen before buying.

I have this exact phone and love it though. There is 'black smear' on my unit when scrolling black images in low light but I will wait to see if Google fixes it before sending it in. A lot of folks have sent phones in and gotten worse units back and my phone is pretty good. The 2XL is still maturing, and this will affect resale value.
