I don't believe you can, at least not on Pixel phones with the stock launcher. You can disable "at a glance" but the date remains persistent and takes the same amount of space.

there are ways to get rid of the Google search, but it only removes the bar, the space is still unusable...just a big empty spot, so I keep the search bar there as maybe it will come in useful sometime.

yeah...I forgot to clarify when you turf the at a glance, the date widget includes a weather report, which is something @great_big_abyss said he wanted. the issue with that is the now opened space is still unusable for app icon placement. same thing for the Google search bar...when you remove it, you have a blank space that can't be used either, so I keep it there as perhaps it will come in useful time sometime.

Definitely a bunch of features that I miss from my old S22 Ultra. I had forgotten how basic Pixels are. They are like the iPhones of the Android world .

No routines. Even Apple had fantastic routines. Blows my mind this isn't included. The other one I find annoying is not being able to use power button for anything besides power /camera. Once again, even Apple could do this.

And then there is battery life. Browsing at home, it's stellar. But use Android Auto or tether, and it's hemorrhaging power like an open wound. 50% down in a few hours of work. Wtf. That is so much worse than my 3 year old S22 Ultra. Shame I can't use routines to put cpu in low power mode like I could with s22.

Speakers are so much better tho. And it is a hell of a lot smoother browsing FB and switching apps.

Probably wouldn't buy one again. Although I think I probably said they of the Pixel 6 Pro I had previously.
