I was tempted, but then started thinking about a new ITX Mb and DDR4 and it just wasn't quite alluring enough for the minimal 4K FPS I'd gain at the moment.

We'll see if I hold out by the next deal

Best deals on ram I have seen so far is the xpg (Adata) stuff on amazon (plus not charging taxes).
