Knowing Newegg it could be the weekly delisting to excite the masses into panic buying them when they come back up in a day or two.Dont matter now. Out of stock, so someone bought them...

Having pre-ordered a 1080ti founder edition at $1,100 or whatever it was I have been having a hard time swallowing the prices of the 2xxx and 3xxx series especially while it still does what I want.

I hear you on that. Course I did cough up the money for the 3080ti but at least it was msrp $1,357.99 usd. And I would have never done that if I wasn't able to get a really good return on selling my 1080ti cards.
Still way too much.
