discussion LED Acrylic tube vs Cold Cathode

After PM, LED costs 50cents more than the cathode, but cathode also comes with TWO tubes.
Which one is better to put in my HAF922?

Red LED Acrylic tube:

Thanks guys, will go get the LED today. (Not sure if all HAF922 are the same, but my red LED fan in the front is dim as ****, makes my case look so boring compared to my previous antec 900)

I own a similar LED cathode by Logisys, just keep in mind they're not as uni-directional as a cold cathode would be. but in terms of safety, the LED is a great alternative.

Weird, I thought CCs were brighter. That said, they do use more power for sure.

That is true, but it also causes 60% more thread necromancy and spamming.. so you have to weigh those with the electricity cost and decide what one is best for your application.
