I don't really care either way. Linus and I are not buddies. I just call it as I see it.
 
I know one thing: Linus is one of the ONLY tech guys on Youtube who knows WTF he's talking about. Plus, having met him, he's one of the few guys in this industry who isn't a total and complete douche.

That alone make him worthy of our support.
 
I would of lied if I said he never helped me. But he did, he helped me pick a good mobo (P7P55D PRO aka my current one) however if there's one thing I don't like: unboxing vids.

I can understand that some people are interested in it but for me, unboxing is absolutely useless. I think there was even a video making fun of unboxing videos :P but as the others said he does know what he's talking about so I have to give him my respect for that, instead of acting like a sales representative.

The point of unboxing videos is to show what you're getting for your money. I think it's nice to see what you can expect for packaging and accessories with expensive items like video cards and motherboards.
 
Linus rocks. He is an asset to the community of system builders and tweakers.

To be fair, every single review I see about hardware lacks something, and can have holes poked right through it.

Unless the reviewer is a good physicist they have no chance in hell of properly comparing hardware. Linus is one of the very few reviewers that takes a ton of steps to control variables. I really appreciate his new reviews on all in one liquid coolers, and how he replaces the fans with noctua fans to help standardize the performance of the LCS and not the bundled fans.

To summarize: I do not expect perfectly precise reviews from any hardware reviewer, but error bars would be nice.
 
Hmm and I wonder where he picked up that little trick /whistle
 
I like him because he pointed me to the breeder that his bengals came from, relieved a lot of worry about getting a wrong breeder.
