good day good folks: i have an "M-Disk" question. i am looking for an internal drive that can burn to M-Disks. i dont care if it can do anything else but burn to m-disks. does anyone know of a decent drive that can do this?

thx for any info

Interesting. enaberif's link identifies manufacturers that produce drives that will burn M-Disks. Start there perhaps?

i apologize for not elaborating on my info request.

we had a pet pass away several days ago. we have 28.something GB of pictures and small videos of him. it is (imho) absolutely beyond critical that we save these. i looked for the longest lasting media and came up with M-Disc. it will be the 50GB Blu-ray M-Discs. we want 5 copies and after that couldnt care less if the drives lasts beyond that.

there are some absolutely vicious reviews out there but generally, Lg seems to be slightly out in front of the others. i will go with one of theirs and probably nero for software. we wont be watching movies with this drive just (for now) burning 5 discs.

thx to all who replied

Sorry to hear about that. They are members of the family and losing them leaves a big hole.

Would you consider some pay cloud based option for backup too? Might be worth considering as another option.

thx anyway but i have the folder backed up on each of my 5 internal drives and 4 external drives and wanted one last in case 9 hard drives fail.

thx again
