new power supply

Shouldn't bottleneck that CPU much. I realize now that my wife had the exact same computer. Some connectors (the front panel ones) were proprietary so you couldn't just get a new board and hope for the best.
Don't invest anythign more in that computer. Save until you can get your own custom build.

I know Power Wise my wifes ran a GT240 without issue on the exact same PSU.

just installed my 5670 and its running great i can actually play some mw2 now thanks for the help
