These have been around for quite a few years up on Kijiji. The trick to spotting them quickly is to look for anything being listed at 1/4 of it's actual value, plus the palm trees in the background of the images often give them away.![]()
How convenient! I can just give her my bank account info and UPS will pick up the items.. Maybe I should give her a copies of my passport and driver's license for good measure. Thanks for the mail. Yes i am interested, and I will like to buy. Its just that i will be moving to the US this week so phone lines have been disconnected, also i will like the items shipped with my UPS account to the address i am moving to. So if that is your last selling price, i will take it. You dont need to bother about shipping. I will ask UPS to come and pick it up at your location. You wont need to pay anything. And my company will be paying by bank transfer, or they can deposit the funds directly into your bank account. So let me know which you will prefer. Thanks, Mrs Gwen Blue.
There's a trick to spotting them? Looks entirely obvious to me. It amazes me that people fall for this. Here's an e-mail I received regarding a recent Craigslist ad: How convenient! I can just give her my bank account info and UPS will pick up the items.. Maybe I should give her a copies of my passport and driver's license for good measure.
