For sure. And I think both of those vids did a good job of explaining that. It's really really good and amazing performance for an air cooler, but you don't need it and it isn't worth the money. So not recommending it, but not not recommending it either... kinda :)
 
the old NH-U12A cost me $165 when it was only available through eBay lol couldnt get in Canada when it launched but holy hell it held up to a OCed 7980Xe at 4.6Ghz on all 18 cores.

I'm still running that one on my 5900X. No complaints for my uses.

:ROFLMAO: yup. If you have money burning a whole in your pocket and want aircooling only, this is it. For everyone else, go water on the high end or save a bunch of money and accept the couple degrees warmer on air.
