NVIDIA GTX 960 Review Comment Thread

I wonder how popular these will be in SLI, 2 gives you the same cuda cores as 1 GTX 980 for 100ish less. Memory doesn't stack though...

I was thinking of selling my 780 Ti and picking up 2 of these. I'm thinking I might be able to get $450-$500 for my 780 Ti.

Depending on the resolution and game settings you enjoy playing at, there's a good chance you will regret that switch.

The limitations of the architecture would definitely show in an SLI config, where you are able to push more frames but get screwed by the 2GB Ram or smaller bus.

I wouldn't go from a single high end GPU to multiple mid level unless the gains were substantial and clear. You would have vram issues with maxing out the 2gb.

Who would pay that much for a used card that is ohh so nearly matched by the 970 for $100 less with full warranty, more ram and DX12 support?

If you can I would say go for it and just get a 970.. $100 in your pocket for basically the same performance. Otherwise not worth it IMO... Go single big before dual smalls.. Larger frame buffer, less issues with SLI profiles and poor scaling, less heat and noise (2 cards close together are harder to cool)
