@gingerbee btw if you pull this valve off you'll be my official interweb 1st year apprentice. Maybe 2nd year 
oh don't you worry I will be pulling that off its just going to have to wait for a month or so, I need to get all the parts, honestly, the only reason I didn't jump in with both feet is I really don't want to rip my wall apart since it is a new wall but I have to redo a bunch of the bathroom so it's going to happen in the next month or two
I have to do the tile floor ( just stick down stuff so easy) and some trim that has water damage from the leak, I think I might have some subfloor to do too, so adding a shower valve and some drywall work plus switching most to PEX ( I know I have to solder the shower and tub run in ) with shut off valve's sounds like a lot but with some basic planning I think I will be fine, I will be post it as I do it here, lol.

I know a few electricians that work industrial sights and they all call eachother names.
The plumbers normally called the electricians sparkies I'm sure there were other nicknames for other trades too just not that I heard
This sums up our relationship with sparkies.
