You guys are so vocal here. I posted a link to the XFX thing on RFD and that thread went silent. I guess nobody wanted to explicitly show interest in the deal because then everyone else would try to beat each other to the bunch. Hehehe. I'll wait until the 5870 dips to $400 before I buy.
 
I'm actually quite surprised newegg still has them listed as available right now. I thought for sure everytime I check a thread about newegg or NCIX having them in stock, they disappear within the hour.

I thought NCIX would be the same with stock, but I guess they have a buttload of backorders to fill.

It is nice to see them back in stock and maybe some of you can actually have a nice xmas gift.
 
I was doing the same. See the link that someone posts, check it, and inevitably it would be gone. BobbyLou's post is hours old now and the cards are still up for sale.

I got my order confirmation from New Egg so it looks good for me, I wanted the ASUS one but XFX has been good for me for many years so I don't mind the extra $ I had to pay. I went for the XXX version for $30+ more. When I get my shipped confirmation it's dancin' bananas baby!

I'm thinking about it. Maybe when the dust settles on this launch and stock levels rise, Fermi shows up, AMD drops the list price on the Radeons to start the war, the deals start to flow and I'll spring for a second card with my tax return $$. Sounds like a plan?
