I just checked the Direct Canada site for my order status. My order has vanished and the Order Tracking page comes up empty. I would think that if my Back Order for the 5870 has shipped they would up-date the page accordingly, I did not receive a confirming e-mail of shipping that's why I checked in the first place.
Is this DC standard practice, to clear the order and tracking page on a completed order? Could it be that my long awaited 5870 is in transit?
I will await my customer support inquiry to that effect before I get too excited, don't want to post a dancing chorus line prematurely:biggrin:
NCIX indicated that they had 2. I ordered one and there's one left. When you check the status of the supply it verifies but during the order process it indicates back order. You can give it a try. I've sent a note out for them no to back order and process if in fact it is in stock:
Thanks for the heads up. I heard back from DC. Still back ordered, still no ETA, strong hints to cancel my order and look elsewhere. Yeah right, cancel and go back to the end of another loooooong line. No thanks.
