Heyy guy's,

I didn't know where to post this so figured this was the best place I think. I want to buy the 980 ti Hybrid but I can't find anywhere in Canada that sells it yet. I

I've never ordered from the US before but I found a site B&Hphoto's that also ships too Canada for free on orders over $99. Has anyone ordered from them before ?? If so can someone explain all those fee's to me. I don't want to order the 980 ti and have a surprise bill.
 
I've never ordered from them, but have seen them a lot when googling photography gear. It'll be 25% right off the top for exchange rate, and the deal breaker would be whether or not they're willing to ship with USPS (not UPS) or have some kind of special shipping with a courier that's CPT (Carriage Paid To) so that you don't get nailed with brokerage fees.
 
B&H ships to Canada via Purolator with all shipping costs listed in the cart before finalizing the purchase. They take care of everything nothing else to pay upon delivery.
I order from them once or twice per year.
Good prices on lots of stuff but for cameras or lenses check local first for price and warranty.
Best place in US for Photo Video equipement, knowledge service are outstanding.

Ps. If you ever go to New York a visit to their store is an experience in itself.

That's perfect, I wish more US e-tailers would follow suit.
 
Yeah B&H is great, I think they actually have a warehouse up here, or at least it was really fast shipping last time I ordered from them.

Granted now with the USD to CAD conversion there's not much value in doing so...

Yeah, I've never ordered from them, been tempted due to their pricing, but the duty is a deal killer for me.

Usually around the same as taxes.

They have to get their pound of flesh...

I have ordered multiple time from B&H. Always satisfied.

They have a customs-bonded warhouse in Ontario through they can ship via Purolator & prepaid duties (if any).

Note: no duties on cameras / PC components purchased from US
