oh like the kitwanga area or closer to Rupert, Last tiem iwas up that area at 11 pm it was still light which i didnt like so islept in a basment on a reserve and was put to work cleaning and canning Sockeye for a few days b that was mid 1990s I like the area there was a griz that would walk through this persons yard every early morning and evening to catch I guess it is salmon heads they seem to only eat
 
After more research on eclipses, found out you need special lens filters for your camera to take pictures of eclipses or overpower the camera sensors. So I'll be ordering an inexpensive one soon (Amazon).

Heads up for parts of Canada, Total Eclipse - April 8, 2024 - Southern Ontario, Montreal, New Brunswick, Newfoundland. There's a variety of websites that will tell you the time for your location if you're near the totality path. Here's a PDF I made for friends & relatives showing the path.

Absolutely beautiful. We got a Birdfy bird feeder (with the camera) - we only had them stop by once so far.
Peanut halves work well for a lot of birds. But will attract squirrels & starlings.

Edit - these were all taken today. About 6 to 8 m/f cardinals came in, along with house sparrows, chickadees, carolina wren, juncos, downey woodpecker. Been a dark day with all the lake effect snow, but lucked out with some on/off sun coming through when they arrived.
