Plex vs Jellyfin?

The extra crap in Plex has become annoying and every update seems to redo the extra crap. Unpaid for the lifetime membership. The only thing I like is finding content I don't have, but, the commercials are looking which I dislike and normally just stop watching.

Lifetime Emby Black Friday pricing is $99 US.

Again..... probably not worth the cost when compared to jellyfin, but supposedly more polished.

I have used plex forever, and I also hate the extra crap, but I have had no issue at all disabling it within the settings. It's like none of it exists.
