For those who've PMed me about the dual PSU setup, I hope this quick walk-through helps. Again, my apologies, I'm kinda busy as a full time worker and a full time student so I don't dedicate much time to building fancy worklogs
For those looking for a "simpler", messy solution, have a look at these:
Bitspower X-Station Multi PSU Module - Blue - BP-XSPSU-BL
ATX Power On Connector
Lian Li Dual Power Supply Adapter Cable - FrozenCPU.com
I went with a dual Silverstone Strider ST1000F 1000 Watt setup, and simply spliced the PS_ON cable (the green one) and a ground (any of the black cables). This will allow for both PSUs to turn on/off when I hit the power button.
Here are pics of my setup... this picture is the 20pin portion that connects to the motherboard. I spliced the cable here so I can run it to both PSUs, the third cable from the bottom is the GRD (one of several black, ground cables) and the fourth from the bottom is the PS_ON cable (green). Granted, there are some PSUs that run only black cables, for those, you can reference the manual to ensure you know exactly which is the PS_ON and GRD cables.
This picture shows both 24 pin cables that run back to the PSUs.
And this final pic shows the entire sleeving/wiring harness.
If anyone is looking to run this setup and has any questions, please don't hesitate to PM me.
Cheers.
