In Crysis the Ultra is nearly double the FPS with 4xAA vs the 8800 GT. Almost every game the 8800 Ultra is much faster. The Ultra is also a good overclocker.

With 4xAA its a clear winner that the one with the bigger bandwidth wins.

Given that the game is not a memory hog.

Well I still think the 8800 series was the best series Nvidia has ever built. Too bad we don't get jumps in performance like that every generation.

Heck the 8800 Ultra is still a good card if you play at lower res. 8800 Ultra Tri SLI is still pretty good. That proves how good those cards were.
