Hello, I was just wondering if a Asus Rampage Formula and a eVGA Geforce GTX 280 1gb would be able to run together without any problems.

- Thank you

Yes it does ,but your are not going to be able to use the sli feature of you gtraphics crad.Additioanlly you will need a psu which support PCI express 2.0 you will need both 6 pin and 8 pin power .Pciexpress really consumes too much energy.

Thanks for the replies. Would anyone recommend this combination though? or should i get a nForce 750i FTW with 2x eVGA 8800 GT 512mb?

-As always thanks.

Intel boards are always a way better thatn nvidias.Thats why nvidia planning to stop developing and selling mobos.Anyways stick with Rampage and go for Either with one nvidia card or use crosfire technology to achieve dual performance of ati garphics card.I suggst you go for the xfx 280 gtx "xxx"edition and either asus rampage extreme or rampage formula.

My combination is rampage extrem +xfx 280 gtx xxx edition works like a beast.
