Rants etc.....

then just remove it from the device manager and reboot the PC. Just for safety you can get the wifi's driver first, in case something goes wrong. Or just get another wifi card.

Worst RMA in history...

H220 pump dies. Contact swiftec . after a week of waiting and a complaint i get an RMA # which i have to file through ncix. Another week goes by to get RMA # from ncix. Takes them 9 days to process it after getting it, then wait another 3 1/2 weeks for them to actually send the unit. After all that they send it to an address I had lived at two years ago (it had been removed for about that long). Spend half my bloody day with purolator to get it fixed (which might I add they were awesome on getting the issue resolved in the end for me)

As much as love watercooling , the thought of having to go through this again has really soured me on wanting to continue with it.

That sucks. :blarg: I was an early adopter for the H220, before they resolved a lot of the QA issues they were having with the manufacturing process. I ended up having to RMA not once, but TWICE in a row but the RMAs were both handled directly by Swiftech and not through NCIX at the time. Can't remember why that was. In my case Swiftech was absolutely fantastic, one of the best customer support experiences I have ever had. Their man Bryan even called me on a US holiday weekend to help me clean and filter the pump on one of the units. NCIX seems to be having some issues lately processing things in a timely manner. And oddly people who vent on their forums "appear" to sometimes get better customer service than those who use their customer service options... But I had no issues with Swiftech themselves.

Swiftec actually came through right well, the issue apparently was they did not have the right email addy listed for rma requests. I went on the forum after a week and inquired, he then took care of that part fairly quickly. But the rest of the process has been terrible.

Rants

Dude, try 2 motherboards, both with the same issue BNIB. Then I got accused of messing up the rma replacement when it didn't work either. It was a refurbed and it was worse than the original board!!!

The one I got the 3rd time for the 1st board works but has no sound. A sound card would fix that, but still.

The 2nd 1 they never did replace. After nearly 2 yrs of bs I finally washed my hands of them and their products.

At least new anyway. Used I know it works already...

But that's Asus for ya !!! The EVGA MSi and Gigabyte boards are pretty good with all of the latest upgrades in the bios'.:thumb:

The Classy was a good board and the SOC Champ is just taking me a bit of time to get used to, but no complaints.

Friendly advice for case manufacturers......

If your ultra bright power switch LED requires 2 layers of green painter's tape to prevent it from blinding everybody in the room.... you might want to tone it down a bit. :)

Why u hatin' on my razer case brah?:haha:

Heh... this one's an Apex mATX case and the blue light is absolutely piercing. :)

At the same time maybe a shout-out for bios features... my cheaparse baytrail Asrock board had a setting that allowed me to select what the power LED did during sleep mode, the MSI that's currently in there doesn't and having an ultra bright blue light blinking on and off is hardly optimum as well. :)

Drop sets and leg extension/lunge supersets.

The bum muscles, they're so sore :S. I'm almost afraid of the stairs and chairs today. My coach is a mean lady haha
