Why the Hell is Homegroup such a PITA? It should be a relatively simple process to connect internally networked PCs, but always seems to be flakey. Hell... try starting a new homegroup on your internal network..... only one allowed per household, and it's like a virus that stays alive by being sensed as available when a new windows device is turned on. First I had to disconnect every PC from the existing homegroup, but that wasn't enough to kill it off... in order to strike a stake through it's heart I also had to ensure every PC in the house was turned off at the same time.
While we're on the topic of network shares.... WTH can't I easily sync local folders between two networked PCs??? Is that too much to ask? I can do it locally between a PC folder and a mobile device... why not between two PCs?!?!?!?
