Rants etc.....

Still waiting on someone out there to want the Fiancee's talents in the office environment, still no phone calls for interviews...

Heh.... for all the folks who complain about poor communication / action from kijiji responses to your ads.... try putting a fat PS3 parts unit up for free and watch the feathers fly. :)

Why the Hell is Homegroup such a PITA? It should be a relatively simple process to connect internally networked PCs, but always seems to be flakey. Hell... try starting a new homegroup on your internal network..... only one allowed per household, and it's like a virus that stays alive by being sensed as available when a new windows device is turned on. First I had to disconnect every PC from the existing homegroup, but that wasn't enough to kill it off... in order to strike a stake through it's heart I also had to ensure every PC in the house was turned off at the same time.

While we're on the topic of network shares.... WTH can't I easily sync local folders between two networked PCs??? Is that too much to ask? I can do it locally between a PC folder and a mobile device... why not between two PCs?!?!?!?

yeah, somehow Windows sharing option always have been complicated when having multiple devices (PC & mobile devices).

I "fixed" the problem by not really caring about homegroup and just making shared folders.
