Rants etc.....

SONY saying that PS5s should be easier to find in 2023 (several online sites).

For a little while there I was quite hopeful when I signed in to SONY Canada. Got excited after adding a PS5 console to the basket at the retail price - wow. But signing in: "Sorry, not available in your region."

Tried again and it just redirects me to SONY's US site... just bundle deals there. Yeah, thanks SONY

dude they had non bundle consoles available at Best Buy and amazon for almost a week now.

Basic digital.

God of war bundle.

They had them (base) in stock for a while. Only went OOS yesterday. Best Buy still has them, although I'm not sure if they do in your area.
Eventually... 😁 probably around the time the PS6 is ready. While there's a lot of shortages due to supply line issues & chip shortages, SONY designed the PS5 with some custom parts (as I understand it) which didn't help either. Plus the scalpers were a major human-created shortage in itself.

So.... what's the psychology behind full blown "Grumpy Old Man"?

Is it that point where your brain is telling you (rightly or wrongly ;) ) that you're tired of always being the only competent person in the room? :)

I think it's mostly because we've lived a long life and experienced a lot, but the world is different than the one we grew up in, so no one will listen to us, because they feel that the world has passed us by and they know better, but in reality they are destined to repeat our mistakes, and in doing so it aggravates us, and thus we come accross as grumpy old men. At least thats how I see it anyway.

Heh... it was mostly a rhetorical question..... I think I hit Chronic GOM about 6 months ago.

Gotta go out soon and source my porch rocker for this spring/summer........
