Same experience, our pump machining company was obviously the wrong choice and our Pump SME at the time folded like a wet paper bag. It was a huge fight between him and the PM (the PM being right). Should have been told to come back with PPE and if they tried to charge us, back charge them or at least refuse the invoice. It was very unprofessional and a bad showing by the SME (who had a few other bad showings IIRC).
