Second long form Census in a row??????

Anonymous, and 1 in 4 my hairy arse!!!!!

(Lot'sa cursing going on trying to figure out the annual expenses info they were looking for...... ).
Got the long form here too... It did take me a good 30 minutes to fill out and the annual expense part is super annoying indeed!

Not sure what you all mean by long-form census. All I got was the card with a number for the website, took about 10 minutes, I don't remember anything about annual expenses is ours.

My RANT for today. Trying to figure out secure boot keys. I got the update from MS and my secure boot is on, but Windows 11 says it's using the old keys. Don't know if this is a screw up, when I check it with the PowerShell commands it comes back "true". So I don't know if I am fine or if I need to do something in the bios, which of course, Asus key management is not very clear how to do things and because I never use this stuff, I am worried about bricking my boot manager on this install lol. Ahhhhhhhhhh, MS. It seems one of the beta bios for my board may have updated keys, but I won't use a beta bios.

Oh, I also don't know if I caused all this because I didn't know I got the update, right after I got it, I updated my BIOS, online it said I needed to have the most up-to-date BIOS, which turned out to be untrue, my mothers win11 is running a 2022 bios and hers updated the OS and the bios fine.

I don't think I or MS could make this any more of a mess. War wages on with secure boot lmao

There are two versions which go out the majority of which are fairly basic headcount questions. The long form supposedly goes out to 25% of households and asks a lot more questions....

^^^^ I didn't know there was a different census handed out, thanks.

OMG, SO I have spent most of the day trying to get the secure boot update reissued, finally it worked, but what a pain that was. I don't get why it has to be such a pain in the A55.

I tried several commands to trigger the update, but of course, most didn't work. After finding that my secure boot system32 files were missing things, I was able to run a Dism online cleanup, which replaced the needed files and then the PowerShell commands worked. so secure boot is up and running properly now.

If anyone else needs the commands to run in power shell.

to set the register flag

reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecureBoot" /v AvailableUpdates /t REG_DWORD /d 0x5944 /f

to trigger task

Start-ScheduledTask -TaskName "\Microsoft\Windows\PI\Secure-Boot-Update"

I assume most, if needed have found them or know them, just wanted to throw them up here for those who may not
