Rants etc.....

For the third time now, the handle that controls the shower has sheared off an o-ring. The replacements my landlord have put in either aren't the proper OD or there's something else wrong causing them to shear. I'm happy he's here within 24 hours when I call him, but this is stupid.

F Swiftech and how cost cutting they are. Easy install H220 my ass.
I just spent 20 min mounting the damned block because the stupid back plate and block don't lock in place for LGA1150.
They made it one big slot and it's freakin difficult to get the screw in the right spot since you're sliding it around with barely any space to see a black screw going through a black motherboard into a black back plate.

I took off a Thermalright HR-02 which was miles easier to install even if it did have 10 times the amount of pieces for mounting, and requires a long screw driver for the second retention screw.

Not to mention one of the fans had a spindle cap loose so it leaked oil all over the fan. I had to clean it up, pop the cap back in, and re-seal it with my own tape.

EDIT:
All that and my 4770K still hits 100C at 4 GHz. Looks like I'll definitely need to re-lid this chip.

All this was after trying to mount the damned rad in my Arc Midi R2.
I had to mount it in the worst way possible (tubes up, rad in the front below the pump) because they're too short to mount tubes down. My BD drive which I'm NOT giving up blocks the top mount in either orientation.

EDIT 2:
Now it sounds like there is a litre of air in the loop. I knew it wasn't going to be pretty. BTW they don't tell you not to mount it like this in the manual either. Even some old heatpipe heatsinks tell you the best way to mount them.

What a freakin day.
