Rants etc.....

You see lots of stuff like this for cross border shipping now. I have had orders from Rock Auto go from UPS to FEDEX to CP all in the same order. Honestly, if CP can do the job (BWAHAHAHAHAA!!!!) that Purolator does then I don't have much of an issue. Problem is, CP is a joke. Hope it does work though because we need something better than what is currently available from shippers.

I do t really see purolator as a step up from CP. Some of the most rediculous things I have seen to date have been purolator related.

Most of the couriers here in Moncton seem to be decent so I don't really have a preference, although the undelivered process for CP costs me a day as it has to go to the central sorting at the end of the day and then doesn't go out to the local PO until the next day whereas I can pick up courier undelivered that evening after a certain time.

Something else I came across on RFD was the fact that CP now has pre-paid boxes at select locations. That's something I've seen through USPS and always wished we could have here through CP. Hopefully they start offering them through all POs.
 
Seems like my Swiftech H240X has finally given up the ghost. After removing the blockage from before it ran ok for a while but the pump would intermittently stop and the CPU would overheat and throttle. Being almost 3 years since i bought it i assumed the warranty was up and opened the pump to see if it was fixable. Sadly nothing looked wrong. After putting it back together it ran for another 4-5hrs before stopping again. Going to order a Noctua NH D15S and be done with this problematic unit.

I expected better from swiftech as i still have an old kit of theirs in my spare computer that has been going strong for close to 10 years. Probably due to the Laing D5 in it being so robust.
 
wow I forgot that my door intercom number is different from my actual suit lol which explains why almost every single delivery I have placed doesn't get deliver to my door unless someone lets the driver into the building grr now I have to contact my building manager ( who isn't usually around ) to get the number lol

Its a Laing DDC pump, rated for 50,000 hours (if properly cooled). PCB probably failed after one too many heat cycles. DDC vs d5 is something like 5% failures vs 0.5%.

Contact Swiftech, you'd be surprised what they might do for you (replace anyways, or maybe provide discount on new pump), I had excellent support from them the 2 times I've needed it.

Kijiji moncton has just gone full stupid modern interface.......

I can no longer link directly to the list of BST categories, I'm stuck going to a picture heavy main page with the lists only being accessible through a mouse-over :(

It is a weird push as I have it too but not on my phone and yes it's really ******* stupid layout.

It's bizarre..... it shows up on my laptop, but not on my desktop. Both are running windows 10 and chrome, the only differences are higher resolution on the desktop, pro on the desktop, and active malwarebytes pro on the desktop.

I've tried refreshing the page on the desktop on the off chance that it's just not registering the change, but haven't cleared the cache yet.

edit: Nope... flushdns didn't do the trick, neither did turning off malwarebytes pro......
