dang cable robbers! Telus says cable theft is the cause of an almost province wide internet & cellular outage in BC and much of Alberta.

phone / internet / cellular just came back around 5PM PST for us. have to say it was a nice quiet day

Welp. Seems my laggy SmartTube issue is actually a FireTV issue. Guess I can try to factory reset it and start over to see if it fixes it. I also have an identical FireTV 4K Max in a box somewhere...

I know there is two sides to this but when someone wants "all decision makers to be home for the appointment" it usually means to me that their sales guy is going to be super pushy and push for an on the spot commitment. If I'm trying to arrange for 2-3 comparable quotes for something larger that just isn't always practical to make happen.
