I'm a BBlue Yeti guy, but the Seiren Mini V3 should be a perfectly reasonable solution. And if you're digging in to software solutions anyway, then it may be the way to go for saving money.
There's a boom on Amazon specifically for Blue Yeti mics. https://www.amazon.ca/Blue-Yeti-Microphone-Boom-YUZUHOME/dp/B09QR8HLSZ?gQT=2
And there is a threaded hole in the bottom to mount it onto a boom arm. You may need an adapter.

I haven't had good luck with those open spring booms. They tend to fall apart on me, and the springs get loose. Although maybe I just have bad luck?
I bought one of these and I'm very happy with it. It's a bit more pricey, but the quality is far superior.
Indeed! But mics always do work the best when directly pointed at the mouth. So running a mic off to the side means higher gain, possible ambient noises leaking in, etc. Most won't care about that stuff, but I doTo each their own. My son's boom arm is mounted to the side far enough that it's basically flat when in use so doesn't block the screen, and pushes right out of the way when not it use. i.e. when I'm gaming![]()
