Never again will I buy locally, I live in Penticton B.C. fairly small city,but the prices are killer I saw a OCZ 2x1g 3200 el plat kit for over $500 in a local store.

F that I'll buy online thank you muchly.

Even with shipping thats just butt rape.
 
Yeah, I'm lucky in that there are several decent on-line/storefront PC retailers here in HFX.

If I can't find what I want at one store, it's usually available at one of the others.

I've even got a bud up the road from me who has a basement store.
 
Yep, got my DFI board from them.

My main shop is probably Mysterybyte. They've got decent prices and normally hold stock.

Robotnic out at bayer's lake seems to have the best prices around, but they're out of the way. (Apparently they'll ship free to HFX, and out where I am is only $7 so I can't complain).

My Ram came in today plus my free calender;)
Just got it installed running stock speeds and timings till I can get some time to overclock it, time to do some news and then it's 2142 time with 2gigs:D

Okay finally got some time the last couple of nights and man......
these stick are pissing me off even stock settings they fail memtest86+ after 7 hours IDK....?
I have tightened, loosened the timings , lowered raised the volts dropped to 2t, switched slots. going to have to pull 1 and test some more I hope to hell I dont have a bad stick.
It fails on test#8 BTW which was a bad OC on my OCZ platinums but these are rated ddr500.
IDK any suggestions something I am overlooking? Had my ocz for years and I knew exactly what they would do so it's been awhile since I have had to play this game with my ram.

Forgot to inclued my specs:
3800 x-2 @ 1500, takes it out of the equation
EVGA NF-41 mobo
2x1 gig Muskin PC-4000 Redline
XFX 7600GT XXX
600w FSP Epsilon PSU
ect, ect, ect.

Also 2400 is stable @ stock timings for like 10 hours.....

Edit:okay getting some settings from muskins forum for a64 tweaker, if they work then it's probably a MOBO issue rather than RAM, I did just flash my BIOS before I installed the new RAM.......

What kind of enhanced mem settings do you have on that board?

Maybe I'm spoiled now, but with my dfi, stable stock settings are normally just one enhanced setting away.......
