My fondest memory was an appearance on letterman... Dave's never been one to sit back and let the guest do all of the talking but Robbin Williams went on for what seemed like 15 minutes without Letterman being able to interject much more than the occasional "ah... " or "eh... " in between topic diversions.

Read all the articles about him... About how selfless he was and how much people wanted him in their lives. When you become that popular, everyone wants you for themselves... But few care about you. Being "alone in a crowd" is another apt analogy. Sad. ..

I am a fan, but I don't feel bad. He lived an extraordinary life. He made large contributions to society. He reproduced and has, I assume, left his family with resources.

Reports are now saying that he had been recently diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease and that it can cause deep depression
