RTX 4090 Reviews Up

Odd why USA has a product page and Canada doesn't though, I'm guessing minimal stock up here, but one of us has to do it right?

I really think Nvidia shot themselves in the foot by not using DP 2.0. think about it. DP 1.4 is limited to 120hz refresh rate on a 4K monitor. So what's the point of having high FPS of the card can only do 120 fps on a 4k monitor. AMD will use DP 2.0 on RDNA3 and even Intel's Arc GPU's are using DP 2.0. food for thought.

I still find it mind-boggling that we are having these discussions at these prices. But I guess it's a bit like gas prices. Hike it up to almost $2/L (in NS anyway) and then when it drops to $1.80 or a shocking $1.50 we go "Wow gas prices dropped! That's great!" :D

But if you guys buy the 4000 series cards, I want to see some nice pics of those monsters in your systems! (y)

4090 FE at $2100 which is priced better than I thought. Actually most cards are priced cheaper than I paid for a mid pandemic 3080 ti.
Yeah the FE pricing is pretty good IMO, below the direct exchange rate even. I was surprised when I saw it this morning but had no luck getting one.

As time progresses, my interest will decrease as we will be closer to seeing the 4080 16GB and RDNA3 though. I see lots of cards up on eBay for +$1000 markup :(

WTF Jeff. Step up your game!!! I want to live vicariously through you! :ROFLMAO:

Attach motherboard to Nvidia card, install case to Nvidia card, move kitchen to office, connect power supply to stove power connection, enjoy. I mean you could use the laundry room too, might be easier.
Interestingly the power draw based on the HardwareUnboxed review wasn't as bad as expected. They did there review of the FE with an 850W supply, and in some games the 4090 was drawing less than the 3090, or maybe the 3090 Ti (can't recall which for sure).

It's more efficient than the 3090/3090Ti in most cases and based on der8auer's review, you can run it between 60-70% power target with basically the same performance and about 100W of power savings.
